As you can see - reached Day 44 of Self Isolating and still very much enjoying the chance to do different things like this papier mache and junk dog. It's the 6th creation from household recycled packets and containers - other objects being diverse as a robot, a ray gun, a boat, Noah's Ark and an elephant head. At present working on another elephant head as those large plastic milk bottles split open make perfect elephant heads without even trying too hard! I've also been keeping up with the daily doodle and the photos of my muesli are big favourites on FaceCrack. La lah la laaaah! Yes, I'm fine - perfectly fine and normal.

Llya, glad you are taking advantage of the lockdown. Good to find silver linings to this corona cloud! Hope your enthusiasm last and we get to see your books when they are done!
Dear Mike and all the band members, let me explain my point. I use isolation to work on a new book every day, there is also time for collages. Before me on the table - archival extracts, drafts, various materials, and the power of scientific creativity takes me far away! Then I take glue and scissors and make a collage. I've lost count of the days for a long time, just working and working.
Richard - yes, it's pretty much what I've been doing all my life but I do miss the charity shops, flea markets and boot sales where I get most of my collage materials. Mind you, I have accumulated quite a hoard that will keep me going until this malarky finishes I expect!
.........what a delightfully fun & industrious artist Michael Leigh is....(this stay at home & work thing apparently just business as usual for M. L.)
Jennifer - How does that work then?
Thanks Judith, Katerina, Jennifer and ILya. I'm not alone I know - the Sunday feeling is hard to shake off! Lucky for me I have lots to do and always filled my days at home with art and occasional crafts. I haven't got round to writing my autobiography yet though! Still time! 66 Days - oh dear! I don't really do add and pass anymore. I havent been to the post office for over a month! I look forward to the day when I can buy stamps again. #staysafe
"Route 66"...Day 66 for me in Greece :-)
Stay well, stay safe!
44 is my lucky number
