Holiday Greetings and More from Katerina Nikoltsou in Greece

A long-over-due posting of some Greek mailart greetings that included Holiday well-wishes and celebratory New Year's cupcakes...from Katerina Nikoltsou!

I think I first learned what this year's totem Chinese animal for the year was going to be—the snake!—from Katerina's mailart... I should know these things, but at least Kat will always make sure I am up to date with Chinese avatars!  I don't know how I feel about it being the year of the snake...BUT IT KIND OF FITS  SPECTACULARLY WITH THE INCOMING PRESIDENT IN THE U.S. IN 2025!!  (Sorry...I'm going to be lamenting our "leadership" and criticizing my own country's clownish and demented political administration for the next four years...so get used to to the snark!)

As if in sympathy, Kat also sent a separate mailart envelope with New Year's celebratory cupcakes...with pink evil-eye repelling cherries dolloping their frosted peaks!! Just in time for repelling any MAGA side-eye!!!

Can you see the nazar amulets on top of the cupcakes? Usually they are blue, but sometimes they are found in red or pink ...Here, let me make them more obvious:

This mailing also makes me feel in psychic link with my friend, Kat, because whether she knew it or not, my latest home-made carved rubber stamps were of cupcakes!!!

If I haven't sent any response mailart with these cute little stampings, I will be sending some soon, Kat!
