Life is a Blur — The Light-Trick Photography of Rebecca Resinski

Rebecca Sent me a terrific envelope of mailart that included some of her experimental photography and a lovely little visual poetry accordion boekie:

If that photo looks a bit blurry, it's because that's the "look" Rebecca was going for when she took a camera shot of some forested woods on a morning walk.  She had to "trick" her camera into *not* focusing because she wanted to capture the color and light. It's brilliant!

And then, as if to describe the wooded forest even further, she sent a digital analog visual poem of what the trees and forest might look like in another perceived iteration. I love celebrating the forest and the trees in every way possible...so I love these interpretations.

Thank you, Rebecca, for this lovely celebration of our arboreal cohabitants.
