All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn
The adventures of Erni's Mummy begins. …

Straight from ERNINESS king himself. Never before has something like this been turned into mail art. But what could it be?
The Art Hammer hit the nail right on the head.
Ready to "go" moist toilet paper…

Erni sent me this very interesting banana holder. I just couldn't wait to try it. With a carrot of course.
And it worked. I turned a carrot into a zucchini or courgette, it might even be a Cucumber. I'm not sure, but it's green none-the-less.…

This metal, yes metal, dust pan arrived today. However the handle was missing and the main message was covered up. Ah but I know who it came from. None other than the Hairy Wear Wolf, or something like that. I'll have to look it up.
And here it is in all of its glory. From the Haptic Werewolf himself. (I knew…

Actually in Eurpoe that would be; In for a cent, in for a Euro. But not this tme. No, Erni walked right pass that Euro shop today, and went home and made an Erni classic.
OH Erni indeed. Sorry that caution sign fell in there somehow.
Thank you Erni, the inner Erni is worth much more than an…

Off scene found art, purchased in the One Euro store, or made by hand in his woodwork shop? It is hard to tell by this piece of real wood with two He s' in it.
Ok maybe the Swiss Customs put the sticker on in the wrong place. Maybe there are "He Werewolves" or even haptic ones as well.…

From Erni, this game is where you chip away the stone to see what is inside. Our postman thinks there might be "coke" inside. I told him "coke" isn't art. It's a 3D object so the scan didn't work very well.
We'll come back to this another day. Maybe a video needs to be made. I hear you Mummy saying; "OH dear, not another one of Dean's…

Erni sent me this little row of sticks attached together. To top it off, he paid 2.99 euros for it.
What ever in the world is it? And whatever am I suppose to do with it?
Watch this space (stay tuned). By tomorrow I'll have and anwser. Today I'm a bit busy with it being V day and…

Two simple 3D foam "C" elements locked together. On the back Erni writes; "Strange Yin & Yang Fire & Water Good & Evil"
At first it looked simple, but then many deep meanings come to mind. If Fire is Red and Water is blue, then shouldn't Good be Red and Evil Blue?
It would be interesting to come up with a questionaire with words, and people would have to attribute colors to them. Yes, I'm sure someone is going to tell me that it has already…

Just when you thought you could do no more with Trashpo cans, Erni pops them on a background and the whole idea takes a design approach.
The three cans have been pinned on blue packing foam. In a frame with backlighting, these could look FAB on a wall. Sadly the cans are unsigned as they normally are, but I doubt that these are Erni copies. They look too…

A 2D piece from Erni? Really? There is more than meets the eye ...
What looks flat to some, may not to all. Remember it wasn't too long ago that sailors thought the sea was flat.
Well Well, the joke is on all of us ...…

The Long package arrived to our gardien (concierge). She said directly to the mailman; "That must be for Mr. Marks". Yes, she now knows Erni's art when she sees it.
I open the box and all of these things popped out. And yes, I should have taken this picture before half that chocolate bar was gone. Not very professional of me. Was that Nancy speaking about self control?
So I put on the oven glove and clapped my hands. It worked !!! No noise. I replaced the…

Well here they are and right in time. Erni sent me some chocolate Christmas tree decorations. They all look happy in that box, but what will Dean do with them?
EAT THEM or PUT THEM ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE. Vote on this blog now! You will determine the fate of these little guys. Deadline is this Sunday, 2 December…

A Jute-sack? In my day we use to call them gunny sacks. And a pick up wasn't a candy bar! How things have changed in the art world!
Well when I was a child, we use to have a sack like this to store the potatoes. So as a performance piece I ran out to the market and purchased some very nice potatoes. I then put the potatoes in the sack, and that is where I…

Oh here is a good one. The Mad Hatter's Mouse Mat. This came in the post as is and without an envelope to open. Now this mouse mat has seen some serious mouse action in its' day.
And more action to come.
Thank you Erni, the mouse…

This afternoon, my postal carrier pulled into the driveway, honking wildly! I was certain she brought the package from Germany for which I'd been waiting. I took the stairs two at a time... Imagine my confusion when she waved an envelope at me! Ah... Not to worry! This piece came from our favorite…

This envelope gave and gave again. Apologies for the delay in posting this and all else that has graced my mailbox this past month. Erni, this package was nutritious and delicious. "Lucky strikes", what was that saying, "don't strike back? Fluxus to the core. Thank you so VERY much Erni. The envelope alone would have fortified me for days.…

The wooden Humpty Dumpty Bear appeared in Erni's eyes and he just had to buy it. "Yes, I should be able to do that puzzle."; Erni said to himself. But when he got the puzzle home, it became another story. He started to open the package and all of a sudden, the puzzle fell to the floor. "OH No"; Erni cried.
Never the less, Erni tried to put the…

Luckily my neighbours were home so they could take this Giant-Supermega-very-interesting-parcel from the postman. I don't know what to say! The parcel itself is already fantastic. So thinks Troels, the ginger one.
I love the drawing in the middle and the…
