Critique Please?

The weekend found me celebrating Mother's Day with a 48 hour ART-MAKING MARATHON! I was in my element and in the zone! One piece born of this marathon was intended for the Mutter Museum's Skull Appreciation Day exhibit. Many others like it are in various stages. I used a process that I call "Ghost Printing" to achieve the desired effect. Would love to hear from…

Buying Stamps at my Local Store

I have just finished some artistamps that I wan't to use on envelopes alongside "real" stamps. I usually buy the more "official looking" stamps like the Swedish king or queens head on them, these really have an aura with a 1970s official scandinavian dullness around them that I like, but often these small local stores only sell the more contemporary "inviting" stamps with more pleasing and colorful pictures on them.

When I wen't out to buy stamps today they correctly only…

Received from Cheryl Penn, South Africa--Like a Door That Keeps Revolving

Another wonderful piece by the illustrious Ms. Penn--I dig the transparent layers which reveal and hide at the same time, the symbols of dice and taking chances, the inner workings of the mind, the enigmatic Mona Lisa smile, the incomprehensible and troubled…

And the Performance Continues - The Po and an Unnamed Artist.

Any Clues? This CD arrived without a return name/address.  Someone at the PO very kindly sealed it in a plastic bag, even though NO damage had been done. Have to say, I'm impressed with this service!
