February 2011 Blog Posts (221)

I leave town for a few days and what happens...

My mailbox is crammed with stuff. Over the past five days I received work (and money!) from Katerina Nikoltsou, Lisa Iversen, Jon Foster x 3, Miguel Jimenez, Angie Cope, Bethany Lee, Laura Podob, Douglas Galloway, Cheryl Penn, Helene Lagache and Jen Staggs. All of the work has been posted in the photos section. Thank you so much, everyone.

A Blog post for John Bennett "Bedroom Fold"

Mail Art Received Last Week of February 2011

I dont know how Onward John knows he sent an avid insomniac a package of sleeplessness. But he did. Never mind all the Vispo theory attached to John's work, it struck a chord.

All the lucky ones who have received a John package know how full they are :-). My favorite:…

RED - from Lesley Magwood Fraser

The South African connection is growing, and I'm very happy about this. I saw this beautiful lino print on Chery'l blog a couple of weeks ago, and one comment was enough to bring it to my mailbox. Lucky me! This is one of my favorite colors, and I really like the way the denser parts of the ink melt into the brighter areas. You can't really see it on the picture but the thick… Continue

Natalie is collecting hand drawn maps for her project, I'll try my best to send her something back. I'm thinking of something about the intricate Tokyo metro, let's see.
Thanks for the invite and the map to the studio, Natalie!
