A mail art call for a Greek Island

to the children of  Megisti Elementary School

on the Greek Island of Kastellorizo.

Be sure to write clearly: "From:  …………………………." 

(for example: From Chicago, Illinois, USA…or From Paris, France)

so the children may research the world map and pinpoint your location.

Your mail art via snail mail arrives by ship to this Greek Island, so it 

will keep the "lines of communication" alive and well! And we wish to 

see mail from all over the world to this tiny Greek Island! Many thanks!

"the black star of Digne"

The Star of Digne , also called Star of St. Vincent, is a traditional jewel from this little french city imagined by the jeweler Antoine Colomb in the nineteenth century.

This star has a very unique shape and contains an old fossil of 200 million years old in lush of precious metal.

 Draw your inspiration from the Star of Digne and send your mail art before 1st September 2016. Thank you
