THREE BORING HOTEL POSTCARDS FROM FRANCE

1. Hotel Provençal, Villefranche-Sur-Mer (1984)

2. L'Hotel Thérond, St Germain-de-Calberte (1973)

This must be one of the very few postcards of those days that didn't include a Citroen 2CV

3.Hotel Monsigny (2 stars), near the station in Nice

Just one more postcard for children - with persons from popular Polish fairy tale for children "Miś Uszatek" (about little bear). Postcard about 1979 year.

Digging deeper into my collection - I found a card that I hadn't sent off to Val via post. It's the Memorial Unit, Grace-New Haven Community Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. I find this satisfyingly boring.

Val,

I think a replica was simply built in China and the architect was not the same, because logically why build similar buildings twice. The postcard is from the 1960s, so the building in China is certainly later, and could have been inspired by the one in Canada.

Raphael I wondered if this was the same building?

It's not! It's the Beijing International Hotel in the People's Republic of China (address no 9 Jianguo ennet Dajie, Beijing, China. tel: +? 5126686: telex + 211121 BIH CN) Maybe the architect was the same.
