LOOK!
A guessing game for you.
Here are 4 Boring Postcards, linked by a theme 'LOOK!'.
I acquired them seperately and initially thought that each one of them was Boring. I still think that, but taken together the 4 form a 'LOOK! Family and I hope to find other members of it some day.
Now 2 questions to y'all.
First question: in each postcard, what are they 'LOOKING' at?
No. 1. (for motor afficiandos, I can tell you that it's a Pontiac)
NO. 2 (is it a 78 rpm or a 33 rpm record?)
No 3. (yes, it's a book, bt which one and why are they looking at it?
NO 4. (about the only interesting thing about this is that the boy on the right is holding a small model of the Eiffel Tower)And then, the second question......
One of you sent me one of these 'LOOK!' postcards a few years ago. Do you remember who sent it (and why)?
Running tracks are usually sort of oval shape, and (now) 400 meters round -- the major exception is the ancient one in Athens which has 2 long straighst, and 2 short round bits. I ran there once, before being chased off. (There's a similiar one, I think, in Berlin)
Nice ones, Jean! Did the Worldwide Salmon Community vote for Westport, or did westport Council decided on the title itself?
Thanks Katerina!
Yes that empty field is indeed Boring.
It's a strange shape, and I wonder if Is it's a baseball pitch?
Byee, Val
Thanks Jean!
Yes the High School must make the list.
I have a similiar postcard above my desk of my Grammar (ie High) School in England. I hadn't thought of the Postcard as being Boring, but now you have alerted me to this, and shown me the one in Portsmouth, it most certainly is.
