What is the name of your toy and why did you start this craziness? Introduce your miniature travelling beastie to the world!

Perhaps a sub-discussion would serve the traelling paper dolls cause best? Something like this?

We traveled all over the midwest, and into parts of the west and southwestern portions of the U.S., mostly by car. I was a child at the time.
I am still thinking of ways we can have that toy suitcase I mentioned travel and perhaps gather bits of flotsam from those it might deign to be seen out with. It could use a little revamp, perhaps a bit of a 'do. An IUOMA decal or homemade sticker of some sort, perhaps?
I swiped this from a site selling this doll. If it wasn't an exact replica, it at least is quite close in style to the original. Mine had rather a lot of hair, more than I think this one has, and was a confirmed nudist, altho' I was able to cajole it/her into donning a few simple outfits I had fashioned myself.
I used to take a toy troll on long trips. She (?) had turqouoise blue hair which stood straight up. I kept her in a cake box that had a fitted, sliding lid. I'm sure she suffocated along our journey more than once.
Her smile never dimmed.
Let's clone ourselves--Andy won't mind!
;)
That's charming! And Giles is endearingly adorable, not the least bit inanely cute as some stuffies can be made to look.
Ever thought of writing a storybook outlining his adventures/your adventures with him?
This is Giles whom I met at Edimburgh airport. He has travelled a lot since then. Mostly in Europe but here he is in Thailand.
And he has done a lot of sailing too, strapped to the bottom of the mast, only in fair weather I'm afraid.
Now he has retired and spends his time in bed. The only exercise he gets is falling off it. The travelling has been delegated to younger members of the fluffy community. But that is another story for later.Want to support the IUOMA with a financial gift via PayPal?
