Same here Marcia.  She left a comment on my page, here on IUOMA, and I noticed it on other people's IUOMA pages too.

"Good Day,

I received an email from this profile with the now traditional message of "I have something vital to tell you"... sic

the mentioned spammers are already removed from IUOMA. So not a member anymore. They can still spam you because your e-mail address is on this site. Don't believe e-mails with false promisses.

The next day I received a very similar letter:

Greetings from Mail Art.
I hope this Email will find you in good health, and I know the message will come to you as a surprise. I'm Caragh McCarthy. from Portland OR, US. I saw your Email address in mail art. Your profile is so interesting. I would like to have a conversation with you.
Am waiting for your urgent prompt.

Caragh McCarthy.

Very interestingly, a spammer called ‘Caragh’ was previously banned from this portal.
