Well, this site is a fantastic place to start! Have a look at the self-portraits, the Cafe and the Cow groups, also note how much humour is employed... oh, and yes, forget what they taught you in school, art evolves far quicker than a teacher of art can keep up with! History, by it's nature only follows the event. Mail art is a right rich soup in which art can evolve.
