In this group I ask members to place links to sources (new and historic ones) for people who like to do research on the subject of mail-art.I will moderate this group, so postings not related to the subject will be edited or deleted. There are plenty of places in other groups for that.See More

Thanks Marya.

To me, the history, rome and function of Mail Art in totalitarian régimes is one of the most interesting aspects of this genre. I haven't come across a good explanation of this so far -- is that particular theme covered by/in Coursera?

There are some interesting Mail Art books out there (and some not-so-good ones).

Regards, Val

Why does one  need a course in Mail Art?

I would have thought a stamp, a piece of Mail Art to send out  and an intended recipient would be enough.

Am i missing out on something more fundamental  about Mail Art?

Why are you involved in Mail-Art:

I started making Mail-Art after taking an online art course through Coursera and studying the works of Ray Johnson, Ryosuke Cohen and The Celestial Scribe who, surprisingly, is always ready wen I am.
