Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Yes! I welcome a little order to my February. I think it will be great for me to have a theme to focus on. And I really like the exclamation point and comma. I'm in.

I fear that there may be a point beyond which a return to normalcy is not an option. For a start, I didn't realise that the effect of sending 365 pieces of mailart means that you probably get 365 pieces of mailart back, hence a neverending mailback loop. Perhaps I will have devastated you all.

I also fear that Dewi's change of theme in January will be 31 nipples.

As for the 12 step plan for weaning yourself off the 365, answers on a postcard please...?

I made this calendar for February project because I knew I'd easily lose count, get confused, aaaagh. I even started to cut out letters. Meanwhile, there's January to have fun with.

I am now stepping AWAY from my computer. I am leaving the scissors and glue sticks BEHIND. I am going to experience human interaction. With my lovely and loving offspring.

Andy, do we have a 12-step program to help us return to normalcy at the end of the 365?

That sounds like a nipple dare to me.

I might have to disrupt my February theme for that one McFloozy...

Camel/Dewi - No you've got it all wrong - I mean that I may have children watching my REAL wall as loads of schools send stuff that way. I suspect anyone who tunes in to mailart 365 can probably handle a nipple or two.
Up to you how you play it

Who knew that Quacker Day is in February? The perfect excuse for a 'Q'!

No ADHD here ... I'm probably the total opposite. But, if my children had been diagnosed with it, I would have investigated every option other than medication. If nothing worked, I'd have gone with medication because back then there wasn't as much information or support for ADHD as there is now.

Dewi ... your incentive is great! I'm very excited. I love a challenge.
