Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I especially like Mail-Art's immediacy and ability to reach out and connect with all artists from around the globe. It also runs counter to the standard commodity-driven museum/gallery fare, so it suits my marginal sensibilities as well!

"...like Mail-Art's immediacy and ability to reach out and connect with all artists from around the globe"  +  "..it suits my marginal sensibilities as well!"  Let´s see if a brazilian conexion may answer to all, or at least part of what you are looking for.  The very first answer to all that is mail-art exchange. I would like to be the other end on your very beginning at IUOMA when you decide it’s the right time for you to start doing it.    If that’s the case at this time, your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe
Caixa Postal, 24827
Curitiba-PR
80510-970
Brazil

II look forward to see your piece in my mailbox.  Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours.  That’s a celestial promise.  I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.
