What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Who is a stamp collector ...

and i mean a serious one that is not offended - i have a vintage i am going to affix to a piece of mailart & it is HIGHLY controversial ...

I am determined to devalue it by using it....

I am running out of postage & I am not sure when I will be able to get more...

Will I get disqualified from 365 if I do not mail them ?
I know we had this discussion - but an answer never cam forth...

Just looking back through the forum to the early posts and Mim, your post on November 29th (page 28 at the moment) now makes so much sense. All the bits and pieces that turned into collage. What a joy to behold!

Back from Rom. Just landed in London and hear that loads of mailart has been making it's way round. I cannot wait to open my front door after reading this!

By the way, you may be pleased to hear that in Dcpecember we got over 18,000 pageviews. Yikes!

I got two wonderful MailArt365 cards today ... #23 from FarStarr and #56 from Katerina, who seems to have mastered the art of time travel. Both are lovely and I thank you very, very much. Adding them to my collection and eventually I'll get a photo taken to post.

Yes, Dewi, that meth highway runs every direction. To think that the rotted teeth mimic the rotted brain -- Meth is cheap and fast and created everywhere -- cars, boats, basements of stores, etc -- and the toll is high.

Thanks, Camel. You're pretty fabulous, too. I can't believe I know someone who worked for the Grateful Dead; you could write a textbook on drugs, I imagine. On the other hand, I never used any illicit drugs, never drank more than two glasses of adult beverage, and never needed serious pain control. A morphine patch and 6 ocycontin -- that sounds insane to me, too. Pursuing our own best interest and health is the point; and I forget that doctors can be idiots. Thanks for continuing the conversation.
