Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Today I received two more MailArt365 lovelies. "Breaking from the Cold" from Dewi and Julie's beautiful watercolor. Thank you both very much!

Paula! The envelope I got from you today is amazing! I am so tempted to go play now, but I can't ... got to stay focused on tasks that need to be completed. Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to lots of great creating next week!

I'm trying to send at least one piece of mail art to each member of our group, but I'm losing track as new people added on, so, if you HAVEN'T gotten mail from me, raise your hand. Thanks

I'm forwarding the link to Noah, PostMuse, so he can see your #41. What fun.

Speaking of flickr ... I just upload a picture of three mystery stamps that I need help reading. Two are Chinese and one is Hebrew. The link goes to the image. If you can read them, comment there, or here. I'm getting my stamps organized to use in mailart.

I went from this disorganized mess.

To this organized loveliness.

In other unrelated news, I've just paid for my art course, introduction to Drawing and painting. I'm well excited, it starts on Thursday, and I can't wait!

Hey Emilie, the blog is for outgoing post only, but feel free to post incoming up on your own blog, either here on IUOMA or your own hosted blog somewhere else. It's usually courteous to post a comment on the original post to say you've received it too.

Also I rather like the MA365 flickr group for putting up all the mailart you get, just cos I'm an avid flickr fan, but some people like some system called "facebook" whatever that is. Anyone heard of this?

So plenty of options at your disposal for the display of incoming Emilie, take your pick!
