Great Diane. You know I consider you a serious artist. You should never think I didn't think you were a serious artist because I never thought that. Those asemic symbols near the top are cool - you draw!

Great to see so many here :-) and such a FAB response to the group. Had a discussion with Les this morning about asemics - so, although I was not here, was still peering into the depths of this o so wonderful textual abyss.

Hi Heather, a member of the thriving South African Mail-Art School I think? I see the group as a place for mail-artists who are interested in doing asemics in their work. You can find people here who might be interested in exchanging asemic work. That's up to you. I see it as a place for people to post examples for others to see what kind of work is being done. I'm thrilled we have some people in the group who are really ACCOMPLISHED in this area as well as others who want to learn. So just go with the flow. I'm always pleased to receive asemic work. Thanks for your involvement!

Dear new friend bruno neiva, great link to your work below! I am very glad you're here. I think you bring much. I look forward to seeing more of your visual poetry and asemics. A wonderful example for others to see.

I find the act of creating Asemics to be very visceral at times.

Dear Sue Bowen, I've seen some of your work. I think you are doing asemics already. From what I gather, many artists who work in the verbal-visual area start creating symbols and symbol systems in their work almost unconsciously or intuitively. I certainly HOPE you stay with the group.

If the language just emerges from my work, does that count?  That's my MO.  I hope I can still be a member. :-)
