Hey, I'd like to see some of those fake JMB lists!  haw!

This isn't exactly asemic, but have you noticed the latest thing in mail-art seems to be fake John Bennett shopping lists? I'm cranking out some myself.

JMB captures my vision: A world where all writing is asemic. Now that piece below, I'm going to have trouble getting it down and taking it home. It does suggest some good letter ideas.

Bruno, I'm somewhat familiar with Helen's work. These asemics she has posted seem to me different from other things of hers I've seen. To me, it shows a real flexibility. This is firmly in verbal-visual territory, where text and image merge. I think individuals fluctuate between the two mediums and find their own ground. Real synthesis is elusive, however. (Someone is a painter or someone is a poet, and you can see the pull.) That said, I definitely see a similarity between what she's posted and your work. IMHO, of course.

Thanks most recently Samuel, Cheryl, JMB. Samuel, that piece is way cool. I am GRATEFUL to all of you who are posting these examples - the range, the ideas, the quality of the work - I couldn't have hoped for anything more. I'm certainly learning and certainly impressed.
