Sources of strength - we live in a rather broken world, characterized by environmental destruction and pollution, climatic catastrophes and war conflicts, not to mention the personal and work-related problems that many people have to deal with. We are asking: Where do you get the strength to go through life upright despite all this? What brings you joy, what creates hope and confidence, what puts a smile on your face, what brightens your heart? Whether it is friends or family, art or music, religion or philosophy, sports or meditation, whether it is the smile of your neighbor or the chirping of birds in the morning - whatever makes you strong and powerful, let us know!

We want to focus on the positive and empowering aspects of life as we need them to survive in this world. We are curious and looking forward to receive your answer!

Ongoing Mail Art Call no fee/ no jury/ no returns/ documetation to all                                     please send 8x4" artwork signed and dated. It will be photocopied for sugar cube zine. archived originals used for late in life project. original mailing A5 or similar sized mailing envelopes will be used as the cover for each zine so please decorate your mailing envelopes. Mail art call!

Word and Movement / Wort und Bewegung

(the potential dynamic of the word in the image)

The performative exhibitions will take place in 22.04.2023 in Tübingen-Germany and in 14.05.2023 in Stuttgart-Germany and are organized by COLECTOR- a meeting point for Romanian artists who live in Germany .

In the exhibition, each mail-art work will have a QR code which will send the viewer to a video with a movement related to it.

Send us mail art inspired by words and we will transform it into movement!

The event will also contain interactive poetry and dance performance.

Deadline: 01.04.2023 ( 1st of April )

Technique: Free

Format and size : Post card of 10x15 cm or 13x18 cm

Open to all, no fees, no return. Offensive works (pornografic, racist) will not be exhibited.
