Austin - we are talking about the same Owsley. No question. What I can't fathom is how you managed to keep count. Those days are long gone for me and like they say "I ain't proud of it" but no way could I give an accurate count.

I mailed out a card for you about three weeks ago, I was just curious if it had ever arrived.

Thank you,

{Back of hand pressed to forehead wrinkled with worry}

I suppose you want this soon????

Our stamp gift--it has gone to the great beyond! I fear I won't be able to give credence to your French-fried postal service which ATE that stamp, along with a very nicely done letter in a (may I add) custom envelope!!!!

**Heavy sigh**

Oh.....very....well......

I'm already knee-deep in one other project, plus things to do for mundane living. So you may have to wait a while, my friend.

Say......Wait a bit!!! How do we know you didn't EAT the mail yourself? Can you assure us, in all truth, you have never received that mail we (the stamp is a sort of bonus from our archives) sent? How do I know I can trust you, eh???

Thank you for the "Tribal Night Tatoo" card! Andrew especially liked the map since he is a science writer specializing in geology.

I especially liked the Devil Girl because I went to Mt. Diablo High School for four years!

Hi there Val,

Yes, if it's from Positively Postal then it's from me! Sorry I didn't put the return address on it which would be an obvious thing to do. I thought you might be intrigued enough (and it turned out you were!) to visit the Positively Postal website and the address is on there but here it is anyway - Positively Postal, P.O. Box 477, Hounslow, Middlesex, U.K. TW3 9HD. Thanks for pointing me to the Postal History Boutique Group - I have had a look and joined it now! Look forward to receiving the mailart you send back to me and I will put my address on all future sendings! Best wishes from London, Scott.

I can't believe you still have yet to receive that mailing!!!!

Strange how things may get lost in the post inexplicably......

Wonderful!  So glad the hare poste arrived safely (and FAST, it seems!... but hares are fast, aren't they?).  I will look forward to discovering your artistic treasure in my mailbox. And, yes, we should continue; a blessing to have a new mail art friend abroad...

Cheers!

The four-stamp set of "Benefiting Mankind" shall be on all Space mailing

and sandpo collage elements will differ from card to card. Good for Go?

Hi Val,
I have to learn to check my messages. One would think after working with computers for twenty-five plus years I would have that figured out. Unfortunately, one would be wrong. I even (much less so!) forget to look in my mailbox on occasion. Sigh. Of course, in my defence there are many, many more places in the digital world for messages to be placed (and I am easily distracted) but still...

Anyway, a postcard will be going into the maw of the Postal System today. I just discovered yesterday that a whole batch of mailart I sent out was sent with insufficient postage but it has been almost two weeks since then and I haven’t got the stuff back so I’m hoping it will arrive at the intended recipients!

Not worry about posting images - I’m not very good at that either.

mailart über alles!

Sorry. The Beverly Hillbilly's Granny never was among the members here, altho' her delight in chewing 'possum stew was legendary back in the 60's. We prefer to take our garlic (yum!) snail-free, as would any sane diner. I am beginning to think what I sent has gone missing-- a pity, as we sent along an antique postage stamp in the bargain. :(

I even had a talk with the Post Mistress about the safety of several articles sent out with yours, all for various parts, mostly in the USA. If it got "et", it most likely met its fatal doom en route from here to France. In which case, we blame the snail-munching French for this entirely.

Sincerely
