Really do love the unpredictable stitching on this very small two-pager:
(And yes, two thumbs up for Rachel Carson.) Another great Nadine drawing/watercolor, along with missing camouflage birds (seen below on envelope), book note on back, and both sides of the envelope, not to be missed. The back of the envelope has a little something drawn by Nadine that makes my skin…

You be the judge: Interesting take on things posed on the envelope, too, about other IUOMA finests: Here we have "Miss Butts went swimming with her neck flotation device in Lake Erie, 1920," an absolute winner done by Nadine Wendell-Mojica:…

This was so thoughtful of you, Nadine: New recipes for Thanksgiving! And an operation to make your skin crawl! Fortunately no one here lets me near the kitchen nor near physician's implements. Some great magazine photos of casseroles (the ones above? who knows?) follow, and I apologize that Nadine's rapidograph drawing (first attempt, she says! phenomenal) ended up accompanying…

all of these pieces require so much more than the average 7 seconds spent looking at art in a museum.
Thanks to all. I feel blessed by the…

Well, first off, I am one lucky turkey-butt for all the wonderful postal friends I have and for the mail art I receive regularly. Ugh... one gets up when it is dark.…

Who knew? Just Nadine's envelope taught me a lot (and I'm upset that the hot dog really is a sausage). Inside was a great treasure, related due to the comment on history that the book's title announces. This book is at least part trashpo--or is it all trashpo?…

I have been reveling in the most wonderful stuff from Nadine Wendell. Most recently she sent me a piece of Trashpo that I just LOVED! Simply a piece of corrugated cardboard that has been altered with the most diverse of materials: print illustrations, ad cards, rafia wrapping, a safe sex brochure, paint, rubber stamping, Nadine's personal doodle-drawings, and a [found?] junior prom picture that Nadine craftily attached so that I could lift it up and see on the reverse what the young lady in…

Orrin & Sadie's 1963 Christmas card:
Sadie wrote a bit more of a greeting to the recipient on the back.
Nadine wrote to me on the back, "Was this the best picture Orrin & Sadie had for their card??" I have to wonder that along with ya, Nadine.
As a fan of Nadine's funny envelopes and fantastic handwriting, I'm including both sides:…
