Orrin & Sadie's 1963 Christmas card:

Sadie wrote a bit more of a greeting to the recipient on the back.

Nadine wrote to me on the back, "Was this the best picture Orrin & Sadie had for their card??"  I have to wonder that along with ya, Nadine.

As a fan of Nadine's funny envelopes and fantastic handwriting, I'm including both sides:

Thank you, Nadine!

Lesley, will you think about bringing the party to Maine? I don't do flying. Oh never mind, I don't do parties either. Except online ...

OK Nancy, you're on the list! It's gonna be a humdinger!

With Orrin & Sadie there, you won't put me on your party list, Lesley, will you, please. Although an oral history project at the party might yield interesting findings. You never know with silent types.

Don't they, though. They remind me of two gigantic framed portraits of ancestors that keep getting passed around in my family. They are so dour that no one can handle having them on the wall for longer than a day or two.

Orrin and Sadie look like a REAL FUN couple! Definitely on my party list! Fun work Nadine.
