Hot dog history and a ____book from Nadine Wendell-Mojica

Who knew? Just Nadine's envelope taught me a lot (and I'm upset that the hot dog really is a sausage). Inside was a great treasure, related due to the comment on history that the book's title announces. This book is at least part trashpo--or is it all trashpo? Need help here from the trashpo genius + historian DK and DVS. Nadine's book contains pages from a coloring book that she specifically notes was "Found in TRASH," but she didn't call it a trashbook. It also has a footrace photo from 1950s? '60s?, a chapter from "Stuart Little" that Nadine intuited is one of my very favorites, and a really great drawing by Nadine of some Palm Springs Snow Birds (love 'em!). What a great surprise the whole package was, and Nadine knows how much I enjoy it, thank you again! Pictures of some book pages follow:

Sounds just right, Alicia. I've pictured Nadine a grand story teller from the first. In fact, she can tell a story in just a sentence or two, and you really get it. Hmm, next summer I might think twice about ingesting a hot dog at the local ballpark after your experience.

Nancy, Nadine nailed it with the snow bird drawing. Love it! She is a grand story teller. She also probably remembers that the last time i ate a hot dog, 20+ years ago, i had an emergency appendectomy.
