Most Days happen just like that. Most days are just Blanks and Fragments of Days, proportions variable.
What happens in the Zalop Space inbetween? Is life happening in bursts of Time?
Blanks - Maybe just Time…

New developments in Haptic World. I am honored to get this rare piece of choco glam from Katerina, number 212 of her project 365. I think this greek chocolate is way too rare to be eaten :-)) and it looks great on the card, so I think I shouldn't be too greedy this time.
Pencil shavings, what a fab idea, Katerina. It must be hell to get them glued on the card though...…

Spring is a bit sad on this side of the lawn, and it is well known that sadness unleashes all kinds of metaphors. This one is by Liu Tsung-yuan and translated by... Mitzi Gaynor? You mean Mitzi Gaynor the dancer? :-)) Who would have thought?!...
Thank you David, nice combination of text and illustration! And funny as usual...…

My brother and his girlfriend surprised me with a very nice birthday card, arrived right on time! They are not involved in any mail art business but I'm really happy to put up this card on the blog, I think Nastia is very talented (I hear it was mostly her work) and they are sweet kids, I like them. Merci les kloufis! (and when are you joining IUOMA?)…

The other day I broke into a Building. A deep scarlet Building, a human Habitation. That Building got broken in several times before, I could tell, even though it was very well kept. It was a Secret place.

Lauriana sent two a-mazingly beautiful chapters (one red, one blue) in two a-mazing envelopes. I need to find a way to include the envelopes in the book, I think they belong there. These chapters have a wow factor of about a million and I'm lost for words to describe them, so I'll just let you enjoy some pictures. Lauriana, you know those are fabies, thank you so much for…

Helen's handmade paper envelope with stitches all around was so beautiful, I first thought that this was it, it wasn't meant to be opened. The Spirit of Place stamp on the thick paper with dried leaves could easily pull it off as a piece on its own. I almost missed the snip, snip, snip instructions. I almost missed the little sandpaper booklet! A precious haptic booklet with…

I recently told Katerina that Ben the Bin was a good lad but that he was quite often in sulky mode. I was a bit worried for him. No one knows Ben like Katerina does, and she immediately understood. He was feeling lonely. Time for some company! Beverly Bin is adorable, and Ben, doesn't he look smitten! :-)
Moreover, it's springtime, the perfect time for a bit of Glam! And,…

I'm glad I sent all the chapters to Cheryl, she's the master of all boekies. I LOOOVE the binding, and it even comes with a hardcover! Needless to say I could never have done this myself. Thank you for this great present! And thank you to everyone who sent in their chapter(s), Cheryl, Bifidus, Sloan and Batgirl.…

Another great story by David. I am so used to him coming up with the greatest tales and fictive characters that I'm not sure anymore... this is a true story, right? David REALLY used to typeset the haiku journal Frogpond for Elizabeth and Bruce Lamb, and inserted his own work from time to time?! Help me out here, I'm only a gullible Cherry…

This is my very first mail from Russia, and it is sent by Natalya Korolkova (aka Ntk at IUOMA). Yamal is a peninsula of North Siberia, and in the language of its indigenous inhabitants, the Nenets, it means "End of the World". I can't even begin to imagine how cold it is up there, and what kind of life it is to travel the roads with reindeer all year…

- Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? -
This is part of a painting (oil painting I think) Cheryl was working on, which she cut up and then repainted on. Beautifully earthly and homely and clay..ly (sorry for the horrible word, you know what I mean, something…

Nice finger clouds on deep blue sky and linear prairie from Theo Nelson. He also made great use of the stamp sheet, I really like the layout of the back of the card. And such a beautiful handwriting.... Thank you Theo!…

Mia's eyes are of such beautiful and rare green. But it looks like the deep serenity that we used to find in them is gone.
Did she cry? Is she upset?
Almost surely. Because this wound, oh my, it must hurt badly. And it doesn't look like it is going to…

Sandpo comes in many many shades of Po, and I am so lucky to always get the latest trend from Katerina. This one is elegantly interlaced with holes and anti-holes. The frank colors on white background give the card a very fresh and contemporary look. Although, on closer examination... I can't find any anti-holes? Or is the whole (hole) piece an anti-hole statement? Fair…

No matter how bad my envelopes to him are, Ahmet Demir always sends me the greatest puzzles. Millions of dots and new artistamps every time. The green envelope is gorgeous (way better than the scan), I love the green and red colors together. As usual, thank you Ahmet, this is fantastic work!…
