I have been a mail artist for quite a few years.  I am sadly leaving IOUMA.  There is a certain style of art I usually see here, and a style that I usually receive.  It is a mid century-collage based cut and paste look, which I admire and enjoy, but is NOT what I do.  I just got a comment that said my art was not hand-made, because I started with a print of a watercolor.  This is not a photocopy, and even if it were, who is someone (across the globe, I might add, for which I spent $3 on…

The famous goose is taking a stroll, but this time she is in the Canary Islands.

In the small village of Icod de los Vinos, there is the famous dragon tree which they say is 1000 years old, but it is likely to be only a couple hundred years old.  However a walk in that area is wonderful and the Goose looks happy.

I just today got around to organizing the two piles of mail that I've received and been collection on my studio work table. I think the fact that we had a low humidity day helped me have more energy. In any case, I'm feeling good about this. And I've started to send out mail to the senders, and started to add to the pass alongs, and got more postage stamps! yay.   Thanks to everyone!…

A giganto barrel of work from Tic Tac, our friend in far off Starnberg. With a collection this big you could start a museum which I have done and now I have to write the copy for the exhibition catalogue. Starting in the upper left hand corner three images become a "Vagrant Story" of the viewer's own weaving. Because the photos will probably be too small to see…

The Circus has been to Norwich & Gina has the ticket to prove it.  Lots of fun surprises including some of that wacky tape.

And the bottom half is also delightful.  I like how the two go together.
