Recession-busting postcard offer. Open to all

Mornin Mail-artists!

It's just occurred to me that the price of international postcard stamps is going up by 10% in the UK from the 6th of April. Seeing as you can't get fixed worldwide postal rates, I'd have to add more stamps after this date to send abroad, so I came up with a cunning plan.

If you want a postcard, hurry up and leave me your address BEFORE the… Continue

my REAL wall - a month in

It's been about a month since I closed my facebook account and since then I've pretty faithfully posted all post received on my REAL wall and up online.

The results have been really pleasing and I like the fact that it's not only my former facebook friends who have sent me things, but members of the wider world, after I put a few adverts out for post. It's been really cool receiving mail from… Continue

Creating music again... at last! :)

I woke up this morning feeling it was time to sing and create something musically again. It's been WAY too long since the last time. I've missed it terribly and I kept waiting for the 'right time'. Well, there isn't any right time except when it feels good. :)

So, come listen to the song I arranged and did the percussion for (and sang on, of course!) at iCompositions this morning. I love the way it turned out.…

Nudity in Mail Art - Documentation

I am posting this blog to try and create a central place for people to post when they receive the docs for the Nudity in Mail Art call. Also, to share a little of the process with anyone who is interested. It was a big project and, like many things in life, if I'd known in advance how much time and effort, but above all, how much money, it would take to get it done, I'd probably not have done it. So, thank goodness for ignorance because I'm really glad I did it nonetheless. :)
