Fleur makes these beautiful pieces from photos of decorated utility boxes in Oakland, where she lives. She adds stamps, stickers, and her own touches. Her envelopes match the contents perfectly. Such wonderful attention to detail! Thanks Fleur!

I've been admiring these ravens ever since I first saw them. Aaron's new white ink stamp pad really makes this jump off the paper! I feel a bit sorry for this fellow but he looks smart enough to figure a way out of that jar. Thanks so much, Aaron. I love…

Yesterday, when I got home from 10 days away from my mailbox, I found a BUNCH of wonderful mail art, including this fat envelope from Carina. Inside were many wonders, including the piece at the top of the photo, a digital fold out of what looks like a big fat…

A great little piece I received just today, although my scanner seems to have "erased" an important part of the piece. There's a yellow highlighter sort of "outline" around the upper edges of all of the buildings at the top of the piece, which I believe is meant to be representative of the sunrise over the city.
If this piece is all hand drawn, it's certainly very…

As explained on the back, this is a monotype Jokie did thirty years ago. I really like it and find myself gazing at it all day.
Let me see, the big hit of July 1986 was "Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red. How appropriate!
By the way, Simply Red is…

The practicality of what we deem impractical
Disgust
Like anger
Greed
Like lust
Fear
Like loss of hope
This is as grounded as I need to be
Your cornea
Your iris
Your…
