A slow parrot

This great envelope from Katerina took a very long time to get here due to the pandemic. For a while the Greek post office was not accepting any items to send to the USA (although I could send to Greece). It hasn't been exactly speedy since resuming, either. This colorful envelope was postmarked in May, and arrived in July. …See More

Brexit/Regrexit

Posted on February 1, 2020 at 3:00am 8 Comments

The UK has now left the EU - just a bit of negotiating left to do over the next several months or so.

Last year, when Brexit was supposed to happen, I made some mail art packages that I sent out. Included were instructions so that the recipient could have their own Brexit or Regrexit, or even a third option.…

CONGRATULATIONS!
YOU’VE JOINED THE RATRAYS…
WISHING YOU A VISIONARY 2020,
THE NEW YEAR CORRESPONDANCE SCHOOL
This was sent to me by Keith Bates , who designed a rat face based on Ray Johns Bunny, together with a rat face with my name. He also sent a blank rat so I could add names and send it to my friends.
Attached here is yours, but you may have had yours from Keith.
Cheers!  FINN.jpg

Thank you for your wonderful mail! The great Fruit envelope and Kwanzaa stamps I received last Tuesday (wow, such a thoughtful and nice surprise!), and the Moon / Eclipse landed yesterday at my place.
The Eclipse I just posted here, in the 'circles' group; the Fruit I will post some day in the 'nog meer post' blog.
