What couldn't be improved with a little whiskey and vermouth?

Let's admit it: all artists are alcoholics. It's O.K.!!!

Make art while drinking. Make art about drinking. Drive to the post office drunk to deliver your drunken mail art (no, wait, don't do that) Infuse your art with spirits. Create bottle art!!

Cheers y'all!!

Here's a quick lesson in 'how Vizma does her Drunkpo:'

1. Spend the day chopping bits out of book you would never read, eg. crapola romance novel with OTT expressions.

2. Drink a bottle or 3 of red wine.

3. In the evening put together the rhyming bits to make some semblance of a story, or not. OR put bits together at random, then drink more wine and marvel at your own genius, spill wine artistically over said poetry.

4. Reread poems in the morning while shaking head (very gently cos it'll hurt) and wonder what the hell you were thinking.

There you go! Give it a try!

Writers eat/ate snacks when writing. We all know what Truman Capote thought was a snack. What do you like to snack on when making mail art?

This is getting good. Thanks. I'll let it go for a while longer and transcribe it.

Who knows, as the night goes on there might even be more inspiration.

Minxus is about saving that little bit of bourbon left in the bottle.

That's great. Seven lines. All keepers. Well, if it's a half sonnet, then so it shall be. I'll leave it for awhile & see if anyone else wants to add lines.

BTW, welcome back Moan.
