I will call for feedback on the proposed interim structure.

In the meantime, please send Trashpo to people in France & try to build bridges. Some seriously bad PR needs to be undone.

I find that a great idea --France-Jersey--same thing.

I'm glad walmarth ordered the mother dirt. this will REALLY save Dkult on water!!  no more cleaning the showers, no more money wasted on soap!!  win win

Walmarth Cascadia has Mother Dirt on order, and will definitely feature it in the fall event flyer, forthcoming. Mother Dirt on the shelves will also help keep the rain punch barrel out in front of the store in potable condition as the rainy season approaches.

No DK, it's a situation that has to be resolved.

After thinking about it, I am wondering if we should put DKULTFRA under another chapter until it gets on its feet, so to speak.

Erica Durante did superb work managing the Meeah Williams. Should we temporarily make France a part of New Jersey (DKULTJER)?

I probably shouldn't have mentioned it, since DKunst and DKultUK are thriving, as well as Finland, Greece etc.  so many places.

Noma Jean, my view of the situation is that one French mail artist launched a concerted campaign against Trashpo and that has had an impact on acceptance there. Some opposition exists on aesthetic ground as well. That can be overcome.

The DKunst response in Germany is heart-warming, and that could have been a volatile situation. It's not.

DK, my threats of lawsuits and attempts at deportation involving the person involved have ceased.

I think the best strategy is to find a new person in France who is not involved with any of the old baggage.

Dean is great and has no involvement in this. I agree. He's from the USA anyway and wouldn't be a proper candidate.
Comment by DKeys on September 7, 2015 at 2:41am

The only candidate for DKultFRA would be Dean Marks. He is a great trashpoet, although he would not choose that label, but he is an expat and not French. And Lucky Pierre is definately not French. I'm not sure France will ever understood this obsession with garbage. We are barbarians who eat with our hands, and grab trash with our hearts

The (possibly former) DKULTNY is well-aware of the rejection of Trashpo in France and related hostilities. I hope there have been no new incidents that prompted the statement by DK.

I feel somewhat responsible as the statement "MinXus is the opposite of Trashpo" has worsened the situation immeasurably over the last several years.

I sound a note of caution about "exorcising all French elements from Trashpo."

I still believe in a diplomatic solution. We need ONE French mail artist to sponsor DKULTFRA. This is a call for volunteers!

We have some possibilities, so please do not be discouraged.
