Maybe it could be DKult Seminary. I still think selling this thing as a religion is the way to go.

A bad fit - being roadie was a bad fit, although it was a fight & a fit.

Dan is an extraordinary asset. The noble field of archaeology involves digging deep into the great human landfill. Trashpoet barely touch the surface.

It's great to see KDJ back again, although quiet. Taking the gig as NLB roadie was a bad fight in hindsight. Carrying those suitcases for the band members through customs was a big mistake & someone was going to take the hit for that incident in Cleveland.

Good call DVS--Rob and Dan could open up a whole new resource for trashpo by showing us how to dig much deeper and find vintage trash. I hope not to find human bones, but Elgin HAS had its' share of mishaps. dead animals in hoarder houses, homeless found floating face up in the river, and of course radioactive debris from the famous Elgin Watch Factory

Trashpo Archaeology - Field Studies - could be an offering in the online DKult Kollege. KDJ feels there could be a big market for this in the prison population. If current trends continue, about 40% of the USA population will be incarcerated by 2025.

And good news: KDJ got parole. We'll get back to the Trashpo Litzers. She briefly lost her access to the computers in the prison library due to that contraband misunderstanding thing. But she's out & very buff from all that weight-lifting.

Between my profession--archaeology--and my life-long avocation--photography--I have been blessed (or cursed, depends...) with the ability to see and appreciate bits of beauty, harmony, and fascination all around me pretty much all the time. Seeing trash as beautiful isn't yet completely natural for me, but I am working in! ;-}

he is too? how awesome! You guys are a very interesting couple I must say.  You should have a reality show:)  It is annoying really--I try not to look at the ground and enjoy the beauty around me, but just like I am the most inspired by the envelopes and or packaging that things are sent to me in, I find the trash beautiful

Comment by Dan Mouer on June 18, 2014 at 4:40pm

Well, Rob is also an archaeologist, so he's stuck with the eyes-on-the-ground disease for life already.

Comment by DKeys on June 18, 2014 at 4:06pm

lolz Dan--yes they are all inevitably recruited and can become your best trashpo finder. They will hate you for it though, as they will never be able to walk again without looking at the trash on the ground

Gina,

Maybe you should try my solution to the "other half" resistance situation: seduce him into DKult. Worked for me! My partner Rob is probably busy at work down the hall on documenting his latest treasure from DK!
