 DVS ,very perspicatious of you to have spotted the play of cult and kilt. You clever cloggs, as they say here. I am most uplifted, not in the kilt sense, in the spiritual sense, with your eulogy of DKultuk, we aim to serve as we say in Walmarth ( don't you believe it). As to Trainspotting, you do not mean Trashspotting? the movie I will make soon? My Queendom is  covered in trash one foot deep after the holidays, the street cleaning service, such as it is, is now nowhere to be seen. Back to the real Trainspotting I cannot read it either but may be it is because I was born in Argentina from French/italian extraction and even a touch of Irish I believe. I have downloaded your excellent graphic perhaps to use as a poster on a window at Walmarth once it is built, we will pay royalties of course.

Thx Richard, the only wordplay I see is that Kilt and Kult are so similar. I thought someone should recognize DKULTLUK. I tried to read a book of stories by Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting). The stories were great but written in this Scottish dialect I found incomprehensible. It put me in the mood to do something "ethnic" for DKULTUK, especially since Le Becca Guyver seems to be in Scotland so much of the time.

I included a DK pic as part of a sort of Hearts & Minds campaign in the chapters. A discussion came up on FB where the consensus seemed to be nothing much came out of Elgin Trashpowise this year. Why even have a central administration in the USA when all the action is everywhere else?

Thanks Dan and Martha--I am feeling slightly better each day but this thing kicked me arse. Largest flu epidemic since swine flu. is TOXIS behind this? They will not stop me from making trashpo. I have eeked out some pieces during moments of semi consciousness. I like picturing you on your ipad eshopping Dan. hope you are healing well!

This is great! Walmarth can sell  these at triple markup around St Pat's Day! I think kilts for DKultUK are more appropriate than togas anyway. Imagine Peach, but don't imagine what's under the kilt

i am sorry to hear of flu and propped up leg, you lovely people, not fair! I don't know when Cascadia is going to be up and running, all depends on Jack, Diane,  and Dan, if the ipad thing is  half as fun as my Samsung Galaxy thing, you are going to enjoy yourself. A lot. I do not know if you can get PicsArt, it is a painting program really great.

While I appreciate Meeah Williams's insightful observation that now heads up the TrashPo page, I am stuck here, on my couch, leg propped up, unable to undertake a real trashpedition. My only comfort is the ease with which I can spend zillions on art supplies at the real Dick Blick without even sitting up! Thanks to santa for the new iPad.
