Me and Vanci Stirneman (the man who "invented" the ATC) in Paris, fall of 2006. My husband and I were in the studio down the hall from his and had the opportunity to share some wine and cheese. I was really thrilled to meet him

I like the texture in each of these, and the color in the one you use as your avatar is really stunning. I haven't tried portraits with colors (well...I'm new to drawing!), and your avatar really makes me want to do one. Thanks for posting each of these!

I have to agree - in truth IUOMA has given me the confidence to occasionally call myself an artist when down the pub with friends and that's a fine achievement for someone like me! (I'm a physics teacher you see and never got "art" in school)

There is something about working with 4x6 that I like. I don't feel like I make mistakes in such a small medium, and am more often happy with the results. The mailart community isn't as judgemental as my art teacher either!
