I just reorganized my artspace to make more room for more works in progress. 1 Reply

I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

Cleo, we have the same arrangement, when a chair on wheels serves for two tables, the digital workspace and the traditional one. It works well and enjoy gliding from one to the other.

Vizma I think it is the thick layer of dust gone that makes more space, I find the same since I vacuumed too. Will have to do it more often, in about five years this time.

Fair enough Michael, I shall just have to settle for a piece of mail art from you!! ;-)

Cleo, is that your new studio? It looks fabulous! I see the dremel, my fellow jeweller!

Today I started rearranging my studio space, I threw everything out the back door, vaccuumed (yes, 1st time for everything) and brought everything back in. I moved my big table to the other side of the room, pretended to throw things away and I think there seems to be more space...

No, I have to plan my creative time and make "withdrawals" from it before the household goes to bed. :)

Mmmm... Creaking is inconvenient if one gets up in the middle of the night with the urge to do some mail art. Can't wake up the household, the household usually doesn't like it.

Indeed Mail Art Martha! Solid Oak! It's ok for these side spaces but the big front door creaks a litle bit too much. A very mundane problem in itself, but anyways! :)

That cabinet looks good, solid wood it seems.

Vizma same thing here, except that in our tips the staff patrols and do not let you take anything away 'cos they sell for their own profit what they can. A mixed blessing I suppose.

that's a handy little hole!

Minimal compact Art space. I have two holes in a cabinet. Ready to spread out whenever I get a chance to do some mail art.
