I just reorganized my artspace to make more room for more works in progress. 1 Reply

I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

Guido, everything changes, don't worry,  your memory is, probably, fine. We can sort this out, January is Field Study meeting time.

Vizma the sewing machine very likely would fit in your red bag, it is tiny but works OK though making a noise like a tin full of nails rolling down a mountain.

Mail Art Martha, do you party like it's 1999 in your computer area? ;-)

That gorgeous sewing machine would go so perfectly with my Red Bag!! I love all of your studio pics!

I'm a bit concerned that I'm behind in the artspace fashion stakes when it comes to white goods. I do have a leak in the roof, so perhaps a white bucket with undies in it under the drip could suffice as a retro washer? On soak cycle...

I do not recognize this at all Martha, or I have memory troubles or it is a sign I have been absent from your home for a 2 long time! (LoL)

I can wash off mistakes that aren't happy accidents!

The sound of a washing machine can be very soothing. Like white noise.

Wow! you can send very clean mail art now Nancy. Not that you ever sent dirty mail art I imagine.

My husband is out buying me a washing machine for the studio right now. He doesn't want me to be behind in fashionable studio accoutrements.

Definitely a washing machine is my next improvement.

At last here is my multiuse work room. I don't dare to elevate it to the ranks of Studio after seeing your fantastic studios, which would fill me with envy if I wasn't such a nice person. Uhmm, perhaps i am not so nice...

Perhaps what I envie the most is the wild life, Vizma, the most dangerous visitor I get is a lost and confused wasp. Oh, and my husband, who after calling me to lunch several times has finally lost patience.
