One of my first stamps! I used both sides of the rubberstamp, one for colouring and one for carving the fox.

OH!  And Katerina, I love that you are carving all of the sides of the erasers!  Not to mention that you make so many word stamps.  Really cool. :D  I have seen many of them on your mail art and enjoyed them then, as well.

It's always so much fun to see other people's carved stamps.  Oh Boy - that rubber stamp image is really cool. :D  Mei mei, your dragon stamp is awesome - and I also love the way you stylized the character for dragon to fit your art!  I need to do something like that with the character for rabbit (I'm working on the documentation for the rabbit year show now. ;) )  Daniel, carving is so much fun and such an interesting way of looking at an image.  Like everyone has already said, it's addictive!  Last time I counted, I've carved over 2500!  (Though I did start quite a long time ago - late 70's!)

Bravo ! I'm off to the dollar store in search of cheap, semi hard, carvable, erasers !

Great eraser stamps, Oh Boy!

I use the small Staedler eraser...I have a whole little cardboard box of them.

And now i have carved most on both sides, and starting to carve the narrow sides (like the one with tree branches) and a few are even carved on the tiny ends.

This eraser is a good soft texture and easy to carve and I use stamp pads for inking.
