Nobody's gonna expire.  You know we will all have robot parts in a few years and we will live forever.  Plus, someone has to be around to watch all the episodes of "Saved by the Bell" on Netflix Premium.  That's where they download shows and movies directly to your brain. No mail necessary.

Diane, that is way beyond my expiration date...you may have to let me know via ether-mail when that date rolls around.

you're right David-hanging on to those red envelopes for dear life. but will ebay be around in 2050?

From an eBay catalog circa 2050: "This rare Netflix envelope is worth approximately 50 million yuan. Once ubiquitous, they became a collectible around 2015 when the post office restricted all mail to letters, postcards and mail art."

I will miss seeing those Red Envelopes. Guess I should save a few for posterity?

I wanted to do something like this but Marcia beat me to it. This brief moment in postal history, soon to be eclipsed by online viewing, will be known as The Hour of the Red Envelopes.

Marcia sent me a visual history of the early years of Netflix. Greatness!

...and great Postal History with Marcia's Valentine. This is amazing..Benjamiin Franklin was First Postmaster in America, 1737! And on the "heart" side, we see a 1976 US postage stamp in his honor. but there are 16 AMAZING Franklin stamps on the other side, dating from 1902-1927! Treasures each one! One is stamped"Chicago", another: Seattle, Wash., and another Danbury, Conn.Plus many other cancels and details! Thank you so much, Marcia!

I feel the same way, Katerina. And I dearly love the pieces I'm sending. Must go to Home Depot and look at their sandpaper. First time I've ever been in a sandpaper department, so I expect a big adventure!
