I am obsessed with sending things through the mail, which predates my obsession with all things Japanese. Both my mum and grandmother are partially to blame for this nearly unhealthy way of thinking: I learned everything there was to know about penmanship, origami folding and basic bookbinding from them (as well as other handskills of the textile trade). I spend far too much money on postage and smile every time I hear the creak of mailbox hinges.Mail art makes people happy -- that's why I love mail art and the people who make it.

Hi Jennie,
I got the Pod's wonderful "Good Mail Day" today. What a gas! It is a fantastic achievement and I absolutely adore it! I just had to post it on my blog: Heebee Jeebeeland with a complimentary blurb (How could I not)? Thanks very much for all your efforts. Also: something on the way from the 4th Dimension
