"Do you have a rubber stamps business? Jim said they have been making your stamps for years. When I first got into mail art Ready Stamps offered a free class in stamp making. They no longer have the class but they still let me hangout. Rick"

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I am obsessed with sending things through the mail, which predates my obsession with all things Japanese. Both my mum and grandmother are partially to blame for this nearly unhealthy way of thinking: I learned everything there was to know about penmanship, origami folding and basic bookbinding from them (as well as other handskills of the textile trade). I spend far too much money on postage and smile every time I hear the creak of mailbox hinges.Mail art makes people happy -- that's why I love mail art and the people who make it.
