Thanks Jan, your comment comes just in time, I am about to start on the next batch of art pieces to send and was wondering if I should do cats or go on with the abstrocities. May be I can combine them...?

Mail Art Martha, love your Storm Window. Carry on in the abstract mode--great work!

Carl, what size is the piece you posted on Friday?

When a person opens up this group online, it is a wonderful gallery of every type of art imaginable.  I love it all.  On the main page, the daily photos are like going to an ensemble gallery and getting a taste of everything artwise. If I were still teaching art, I would make my  students in grades 8-12 come visit often and write a paper on their experience.  Art really is in the eye of the beholder and I'm always pleased and surprised.

I have turned to abstract art, well, I hope it is art. Abstract drawing at least. I called these efforts 'Abstrocities'

This is  'Storm Window'

The colored work has so many layers to it. It's like a woman's face is flowing through it. It's a complex piece.
