What a great community this is! Got word Tim has double pneumonia- who knows where THAT got started- but- he is on oxygen, breathing a bit better, on massive IV fluids and antibiotics, and there is good prognosis, given time, rest and the meds. LOL- I asked (through his Mother-in-law, who is awesome!) if Tim and/or Amy wanted me to come up for a day or two - the chorus was - NO -lol- and then a big "I love you, Mom" from Tim. LOL - he's got all the good peeps he needs right there. So- I am breathing more easily too - and thank you mightily for the good vibes - you people rock!
Corrine- Thinking about you and your son. My heart to you and yours. <3
Thank hou so much Mary- prayers so needed and appreciated! Tim has severe double pneumonia, but is getting large doses of antibiotics, the oxygen is helping him breathe better, and he mayeven be able to get out of ICU and to a regular medical floor later today or early tomorrow, so that is good news. Us mothers never stop worrying about our kids, no matter the age! (he is 40 - has a wonderful wife of nearly 5 years, and we are so lucky to have her as part of the family!) OK- I can no take a deep breath myself, and get to some art after the Labor Day travels we had.!
Dear Corrine:
Hope your son will get better soon and adding you to our prayer list!
I received tow wonderful abstract and sewn! (I love sewing!) ATC's this AM. Thank you Amy Irwen! I may be off line awhile- younger son is severely ill- I may have to go back up to Portland - Thank you Amy!
In yesterday's mail: a butterfly envelope from Mary Grellner, with two charming ATCs inside!
There was also a card with an "Adopt from a shelter" recommendation, which is something that I believe in, too. Andrew and I adopted our beautiful little orange cat, Josefina, from the East Bay SPCA in Oakland.
Thanks, Mary!
