Margaret, you send him a rubber stamped image (I usually stamp one on a postcard and write in ball point pen with an arrow pointing at it "for braincell"). Once he has enough he sends out a braincell and every participant gets a copy. You can participate by sending stickers as well - but unlike with rubber stamped images there's a number required for stickers and I forget just what that number is.

Good question Carl! It's definitely a coding quirk that shoulda been fixed a long time ago. Character translation/rendering is not that hard nowadays. Using a common character as a reserved delimiter or other function should be a thing of the past (waayy past).
why does the ampersand(&) appear as & in titles of discussions and messages? thats kinda annoying, this ning thing has too many glitches.
