Comment by Ruud Janssen on January 4, 2015 at 6:30pm: I remember the discussion with Mark Bloch. He claimed Mail-Art is over, and what we do needed a new name and it could be a random one not associated with the old names like Fluxus, Mail-Art, E-mail-art, Neo-Fluxus, New Fluxus, etc.....

It is typical that people from within a group claim the movement isn't open for newcomers and try to exclude them.

For me 8089 is just a number (7! + 7^2), and as a group it will be an interesting start for a discussion on when a movement starts, grows, ends and claims to be part of history.

Artist and Art-critics are two different sides, Sometimes people cross over from one to the other (doesn't matter which way).
