The IUOMA is free for all members because of the many sponsors that donate to the IUOMA or because of the IUOMA bookshop that brings in money to keep this platform alive & free.

On this page I will keep IUOMA members up to date on how the financial situation is for IUOMA on NING. According to the new guidelines by NING the hosting costed 588 USD (=508 Euro at current rates) when paid on a yearly basis.

For 2026-2027 : 508 euros brought up by members/sponsors

For 2027-2028 : 462 euro needed (46 euros brought up by members/sponsors)

For 2028-2029 : 508 euro needed.

The exchange-rate of USD-EUR might change the numbers a bit. And if NING changes it rates again, the table changes too! Due to decrease of value US$ the price went up for 2026

For Paypal donations: IMPORTANT: please use the friends/family option. That means the transaction costs are minimal and Paypal doesn't get a large part of your donation.

Comment by Ruud Janssen on July 21, 2026 at 3:44am: On July 20th the bill for hosting IUOMA on NING was payd. So we are online for another year. Sory to see that the donations didn;'t match the needed funds, so I had to add some of my own this time.

Not sure if we can continue this way. The hosting is getting more expensive with inflation, postal costs are rising too, and maybe this will be gthe last year for IUOMA on this platform.

The money will be used to keep the IUOMA-platform alive. Current donations keep platform online till 1-aug-2027. If you want to donate to get IUOMA-publications into archives and museums please mention this with your donation. It will then be used to send some hardcopy books into museums and archives. You can order books yourself too at the IUOMA-Bookshop. That will sponsor the IUOMA as well.

This IUOMA platform on NING has no advertisings, so the funding is completely depending on donations by members. Access remains free for everybody off course
