I have a paper book with all my passwords and sites that I participate with so I cam remember what I'm doing. Some sites, you don't get "nagged" to return and they don't even update you with participation updates.
Yet, I realize keeping a paper document of sites where I'm a member is a bit weird. I even used to do this when I was on Periscope, Twitter's first live stream site.
just like when I meet people, I'd write down their name and why we connected so that I can recall them when we meet again "accidentally on purpose."

Comment by Juan Petry on July 28, 2023 at 8:43am: it is a general phenomena. people are "overnewsed" and "underinformered". they can not handle all their accounts in various places, neither their strong passwords. the only way to protect you from using data from abandoned profiles would be to bind visibility to a "max duration without login". but that would shrink the total number of visible accounts a lot, in case of iuoma i would gess around 75% (if you hide all profiles without a visit in the last 12 month).
