Hi Jon! As I opened the add+pass envelope you sent me, I felt like I was pulling a never-ending scarf out of a magician's hat. There always seemed to be one more thing to see. Thanks for the fun! Looking forward to passing it along and sending something back to you.
Hi Jon, I visited your blog tonight and found your letter about Mail Art with the response by John Held, Jr. I tried to leave a message, but was unsuccessful. At any rate I found the ideas and history thought-provoking. Impressed by your continued creativity and dedication to taking the mail Art movement in new directions.
Jon, I got your notice that you are considering doing a zine and wanted a response. Are you asking people what they think would make a good zine? Would be curious to see the responses you have so far. If it's shooting in the dark you want, I'd say it would make a valuable history to say what Mail practice has accomplished up to now; to list the many tentacles (and testicles and other lobotomized parts) that have been chopped and forgot - there's been many beginning from the early beginnings. And, of course, for shortages of cash or imagination, the many magnificent things that failed to get done en route, but are still to be done in an undisclosed future. Ok, that is my contribution - a (sort of) provocation. Bet you can find some great people to fill in my hungry blanks, say, just for starters, starting with John Held jr (never short on ideas) and Vittore Baroni (who has thought through the history). Or try Ruggero Maggi on the Tibet Pavillion at the Venice Biennale.

Google Maps, LOL. Their photo is from 2012. Lupita's opened in 2017.
Hahaha! My question, too! Lupita's address is an empty lot on Google maps--
Thanks Jon Foster
Sent to Richard C. Fan Club @ your address.

I have some things I want to send to you...I've got some ideas. All of my stuff is digital though, is that cool? I'd have to send it on disc.
Yes, digital is also very okay! Exciting to know you've got some ideas spinning round, looking forward to hearing 'em. Thanks for your interest!!
