Valentine sends an Ali Baba's trove of wonders to a young mail artist. . .

Valentine told me a while ago he had sent a package, a mail art starter kit, to Rider, my seven year old and I have been biting my tongue trying to keep it secret! Well, it arrived on a beautiful day yesterday when we were all out working in the garden and the secret spilled out, wonder after wonders!

(He put that origami cicada on the wooden stick and flew it around and wore the paper hat around.)

He asks, '"Where do you find a deck of the small cards? I know about those. I like the flag, too. I'll see what I can make and I will send it to you! Thank you, Valentine!"

Yes, Thank You, Valentine, our childrens' patron saint of mail art!
