November 25, 2016 - The DaDa centennial celebration has spilled into the Karnival of Trash, and for good reason. DaDa certainly owes a great deal to Trashpo. This mail art installation of thick, sturdy plastic – the DaDa Energy Portal – is a welcome addition to the greatest show on earth. Only I cannot determine who sent it. I certainly would like to give credit, unless the artist wishes to remain anonymous. I am not even sure the point of origin. This is how the piece passed through the mail:

When I was doing online preaching for DKult, I used to say, "Put your palm against the palm on your screen and feel the energy of DKult!" (I had a scan of an ectoplasmic palm that said DKult.)

Now I can say put your fingers on the screen aligned with the Energy Port and feel the power of DaDa!"

Every minute everyone involved with the DaDa Energy Port is achieving a greater degree of genius.

Regardless of your position or that the more philosophical among us see both sides concomitantly, the Dada Energy generated is practically pulsing through my monitor as I contemplate the DaDa Energy Ports you have been so fortunate to receive.

You are a close and perceptive reader, Bradford! That should serve you well but is probably wasted in the Trashpo realm. As the Kulters say: "Too smart for Trashpo!"

However, the intentional seeming reversal is based on the obscure principle of Retrofuturism that has already led to protests stated elsewhere:

"Fluxus needs to stop stealing from Trashpo."

And now:

"DaDa needs to stop stealing from Trashpo."

But that does not negate the position better accepted and understood: Trashpo owes a great deal to DaDa.
