Comment by Kiki yesterday: Tomoe-san, in short, in Japanese : 国際書留は、通常郵便料金プラス 460円です。ただ、オンライン上の日本郵便マイページサービスでラベル作成しないといけなくて、郵便局がメールで送ってくる QRコードで私は郵便局の郵プリとやらでプリントしてます。慣れると簡単ですが。

Is the register mail more expensive? I am thinking to sent her some Christmas card when I have time also, but I am kind of busy so I don’t know when I can.
