Theresa, a certain household member is offering bribes to have this piece. And the stakes grow higher.
Nice pairing with Vera Pavlova's poem. Thanks Theresa and another thank you for the introduction to a new…

Thanks Kat and Sarah. Been busy with a house guest recently but will send an appropriate thank you soon. First from Katarina: layers of textures with article about a tv series, chapter 2, the pacific boils over. and the Agean painting on verse side in Katerina style. Peaceful with a twist of dk. :-)…

All news is good news when it comes from Katerina Nikoultsou, and this is no exception. Very pleasing to look at for hours. Thank you Katerina.

Ok this was the pieces that confirmed what I had been wondering for a long time now. Cheryl is not a "Sunday painter". Not that I have anything against Sunday painters. All art is good. What I mean is Cheryl can see these images in her head and paint them.
Well Cheryl didn't really have this image in her head. It came as a A3 size painting, and when I scanned it twice on my A4 scanner, something went wrong.
But if you can imagine that the left bit turns around…

an accordion boekie, filled front and back, both sides, with entertaining and absorbing characters. It's like Nadine's version of People magazine. A gem for sure. Here is a peek into Nadine's madcap figures.…

I think I worked it out all by myself. 3 + 4' 3 = a negative Fluxus. There is actually a lot going on in this piece and it should not be hurried. The lovely colored paper ripped, pieces of a telephone book where nearly everyone has the name of Jose, a film negative, and the royal Fluxus stamp, and numbers (my favourites). Thank you very much.…

This photo intrigues me. there seems to be more than one story here. tiny bits of newsprint on intersecting threads can be moved - but - only to the next intersection. I will spend some time with this one. That isn't a bride carrying a wreath is it? First communion veil? Literal translations usually don't appeal to me, hmmm. Thank you Laurence.…

Unusual experience yesterday, opening the mailbox to one (1) priceless envelope resting there. No bills, no direct mail, nothing but this one envelope. Apologies for the drama, see for yourself. Painted and collaged page from a book. Enough said. Thank you Nancy. Really, really like this.…

Even though this boekie has been posted it's not within my constraint ability to not post it again. Up close and personal the covers glisten and reflect light like a zillion stars. Always a pleasure Cheryl. And thanks for the inspiration.
